Having been a runner for almost 46 years I
know how important running training is. You have to do planned running workouts
to train effectively, intelligently and with the right intensity. Effective
running training comes from either good coaching or following the running
workouts and advice of accomplished runners or both, as well as a good dose of
trial and error. The combination of well-planned running workouts and running
training schedules provides the foundation for accomplishing the most in races
and competitions.
