Dumbbell Press for the
Chest
Starting Position: |
- Lie flat face up on a bench.
- Hold the dumbbells in each hand
close to each other and on the chest.
|
Movement: |
- Press the weight over your chest
until your elbows are almost locked.
- Hold the weights at the top
maintaining a slight bend in the elbows.
- Then return the weights to the
starting position.
|
Key Points: |
- Avoid locking your elbows at the
top of the movement.
- Breath out when extending your
elbows.
- Breath in when bending your elbows.
|
Caution: |
- Use light weights when performing
this movement for the first time.
|
